Nathan Abbott
Co-Founder
Nathan Abbott has worked in the City of London since 2015 after graduating from the University of Valencia and Liverpool John Moores University. He specialises in Mergers & Acquisitions, having served as a business broker for five years in the UK wealth management sector. Nathan has successfully guided buyers through complex market dynamics, enabling them to execute acquisition plans ranging from billion-pound asset acquisitions to estate sales. Nathan is married to his beloved wife, Millie, and enjoys the finer things in life: football, food, and music. Nathan recently became a father for the first time to a son, prior to co-founding Cogito Partners.
Reece Matthews
Non-Executive Director
Reece Matthews is an ACA-qualified Chartered Accountant. He decided to pursue a career in finance straight out of school and joined BDO as a trainee within the Audit department, qualifying as a chartered accountant at just 21 years old. Reece subsequently progressed to Audit Manager within BDO’s North West Hub servicing clients between Liverpool and Manchester before seeking hands-on industry experience, most recently in a Senior Finance Manger function. Reece is an avid sportsman and can typically be found playing Rugby on Saturday afternoons.
Zach Teunissen-High
Co-Founder
Zach Teunissen-High graduated from the University of Manchester and started his career in the world of high-end real estate, working in Kensington and Chelsea. Following this, he pivoted to Mergers & Acquisitions, bringing with him extensive sales, negotiation, and deal management expertise. As a business broker he worked in the accountancy sector, seeing through numerous successful transactions in this space. Outside of working hours you are likely to find Zach in the kitchen, gym or sailing. Zach co-founded Cogito Partners with Nathan.
